Are shipping containers dry? Shipping containers are designed and built to keep the contents dry when crossing oceans, English rain is really not a problem!
Modern storage containers are well ventilated with at least 12 vents on a 20 ft container. The rubber door seals and watertight flooring stops any rain entering. We also spray the ceilings of all of our containers with Grafotherm, a specialist coating that stops the formation of condensation on the container ceiling as temperatures drop at night. We have never had any problem with goods being damaged by damp. How safe are the containers? Our containers are the James Bonds of the storage world. Made with marine-grade steel, high locking bars and lock boxes, they ensure your padlock is safer than a secret agent's briefcase. These Cor-Ten steel containers can withstand the toughest conditions, making them the best option for your prized possessions.

How easy is it to open my container? Our specially designed leasing specification containers make them easy to open with waist height handles, long handle bars and easy to use but hidden padlocks. You'll soon get used to the opening process and then it only takes a few seconds between arriving at your storage unit and gaining access to you possessions.
Do you offer a multi-container discount? We're all about keeping our customers happy. Tell us what you need, and we'll do our best to have a deal with you.
Can I work out of one of your containers? Many of our containers are used by the trades for storing their tools and materials. This enables them to buy in bulk so saving money and keeping consumables in stock so that a single visit in the morning has them ready for the day ahead. We have plasterers, builders, decorators, tilers all using our facilities.
There are no services and no postal address for our containers so you cannot use them as a storage unit however we have some of these available as well! Just get in contact with your requiremsnts.
How secure is the site? Our containers cannot be moved unless by specially designed haulage equipment and with their ultra thick steel, lock boxes and our 24-hour full CCTV coverage of the whole site means they are almost impossible to break into.

I'm moving house, can you help me? Moving house is stressful enough so we want to remove some of the stress by simplifying your storage requirements. Let us know when you are expecting to move and we'll reserve a container for you. If there are delays then let us know and we'll work with you to ensure that you have storage as and when you want it - stress free!

Is there a minimum stay? Yes, unless agreed otherwise, the minimum rental period is just one month.
Will others have access to my container? No, your container is your own storage space. Only you will have access to it unless you provide others with a key. We do keep a master key off site to ensure there’s always a spare in case of an emergency. Your privacy and security are our top priorities, but safety comes first!
Is there anything I can’t store? Provided your goods are not illegal, immoral or alive then you can store most things within your container. For a detailed list see our agreement and if you are not sure just call us on 07977738175.
How can I pay? We offer several convenient payment options including: Standing Order: Set it and forget it. Credit or Debit Card: Quick and easy.
Do I need insurance? Standard house insurance usually won't cover items in storage, we strongly advise that you insure your goods separately. You can check with your insurance provider or take advantage of Green Guard’s insurance package. Although insurance is optional, remember our motto: "If it’s worth storing, it’s worth insuring." Better safe than sorry!
